We were involved in the first delivery of database-based systems in the mid-80s, business intelligence solutions in the late 80s, Intranet systems in the early 90s, document management and work flow systems in the mid-90s, Enterprise Resource Planning systems in late-90s and agile web development over the last decade. Some of our highlights are:

Executive Information System

For a global multinational we created a business intelligence system which captured data from the operating companies, consolidated it at the centre and reported on global company performance to steer the ship and formulate business strategy. The highly intuitive front-end was used by the main Board and the regional directors. The technologies used were Pilot Command Centre, Oracle Financial Analyser, Oracle Sales Analyser and Holos.

Global buying of raw materials

A Lotus Notes based system was created to support the work of geographically distributed teams to collaborate on material-specific knowledge and to obtain the best terms from global suppliers by highlighting the discrepancy in the pricing terms offered in different countries.

Competitors Intelligence

A Lotus Notes based system to capture and disseminate all the competitors moves on their brands and strategy to give competitive advantage.

Global Appraisal of advertising agencies

The system enabled the media execution performance of club agencies to be assessed so their annual award could be determined and their goals agreed for coming year.

Prestige products analysis

A Powerbuilder and Oracle based system allowed the brand performance of competitors to be captured in prestige categories of fragrance, skin care and colour cosmetics. The data was seamlessly pumped into Excel and auto-formatted to produce reports for the category directors.

Housing industry model

Worked with Baan ERP to create a property development module in their ERP system for the UK housing industry.
